Founded in 1974, New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. (NYTB) is a not-for-profit corporation that represents the interests of New York thoroughbred breeders. NYTB supports activities and organizations that advance the New York breeding industry, including the New York Thoroughbred Breeding & Development Fund, a Fund created by the New York legislature to incentivize the participants in the New York breeding industry, thereby creating jobs in New York and preserving green space in New York. NYTB also has a dedicated legislative affairs team that works with lawmakers to foster a legislative environment conducive to a healthy New York Thoroughbred breeding industry.
